What is Gostly?

Gostly is a simple way for guests to have instructions, messages, notifications and help in one place during their stay. You get less repetition and less communication scattered across different channels.

Does Gostly replace Booking, Airbnb or my reservation system?

No. Gostly does not replace reservation systems. It's used for communication and information during a guest's stay.

How does a guest log in to Gostly?

The guest opens the access link or code, chooses a language and enters their first name, last name, email and stay dates. The host approves or declines access, so not just anyone can reach the accommodation information.

What can I manage in Gostly as a host?

You can manage property information, arrival instructions, Wi-Fi, house rules, important notifications, guest chat, languages and issue reports. You can update or change the content whenever you need.

Can I use Gostly on my phone?

Yes. Gostly works on phone, tablet and computer. If guests or hosts add Gostly as a shortcut on their phone, they can access information faster and receive notifications about new messages or reported issues.

Can I change the information later?

Yes. You can update or correct content at any time — for example when the Wi-Fi password, parking instructions or house rules change.

Does the guest need to install an app?

No. The guest can open access through a link or a code at the property. For a better experience and notifications, they can add Gostly as a shortcut on their phone.

What happens when a guest's stay ends?

Access is deactivated automatically after the stay ends. If a guest stays longer, the host can extend the departure date; if they leave earlier, the host can revoke access sooner too.

Why not just stay on WhatsApp?

WhatsApp is useful for conversation, but not great for organised information. Instructions, questions, issues and important messages quickly get lost in the chat. Gostly helps keep things organised.

What if I have foreign guests?
